Messingham Show 2023 Highlights
Barton Community Band stood up to the rain and cold of last year's show and this year they will greet you on your arrival to Messingham Show with two 45 minute sessions between 1pm and 3pm. They will be playing a variety of traditional and modern music in our band stand. The Band recently finished in 2nd place in the 3rd section at the North of England Brass Band Championship in March. As a result they have been invited to the National Brass Band Championship of Great Britain in September at Cheltenham. We wish them well and thank them for playing for us at Messingham Show. MHFS is run on a not-for-profit basis and every penny earned from sponsorship is put into paying for this year’s show. Each sponsorship arrangement is tailored to the sponsor’s requirements wherever possible. Messingham Show prides itself on its partnership working with quality traders, many of whom are repeat attendees.
Despite the continuous rain and coldest June day for 35 years our traders turned out and no doubt many, like us, made a loss. We thank them for supporting us and we hope to see them again on Saturday 10th June 2023 when the sun will hopefully be shining.
We aim to be competitive on pitch price, generous with pitch size (10m deep), ensure a free flow of visitors and create a balanced mix / blend of traders to help make a profitable day for all. Please complete our trader form, when available January 2023, to start your partnership with Messingham Show in 2023.
